There are some strong themes that will dominate 2024 but with the kind of balance that will create a lot of variety and with it a chance to find a better work/life balance. This is a big and important year on both the job and career fronts, while Jupiter is making this an expansive and opportune year on both the relationship and financial fronts. At the same time, the North Node’s return to an adventurous part of your chart on 19th January, right in the heart of Venus’ four month visit to a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart makes it clear that life can’t be all work and no play. Jupiter only left your work sector in the final days of 2023 but with Saturn not leaving until March 2024, he will spend the whole of 2024 here.

This will create structure and focus, allowing you to follow through on the possibilities Jupiter has created the potential for. This will get a boost in the early months of the year and especially when Venus and Mars both return to your work sector on 6th March. Mars will also have a big impact at the other end of the year, when he returns for what should be a six week visit to your career sector on 20th August but won’t leave until March 2024, eight months later. As the most lucrative months of 2024 will run from 26th August to 30th October, this will create a stunning amount of support and potential across the income, work and career fronts.

Meanwhile, while Jupiter only returned to your relationship sector in the final days of 2023 he will race through, leaving on 11th May. While Jupiter will normally spend 12 months here, what he lacks in the amount of time he more than makes up for in the quality of that time, with April the most important month of the year on the relationship front. It is not just that this is when Jupiter and Neptune will align, for the first and only time here in our lifetime but they will be joined by Venus on 6th April and Mars on 15th April. This will see the planets of luck, dreams, love and passion come together to create something stunning. It is in May that Venus will swap out her planet of love hat for her planet of money hat, returning to your financial sector on 3rd May ahead of Jupiter’s return on 11th May and Mars on 24th May. This is when this A team will shift its focus from your relationships and onto money matters.

While Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion left your work sector on 29th December 2023, this will have a huge impact on your 2024 professional year and possibly even more so than when he was here. Jupiter is a planet that can promise much but under deliver, for while he will return every 12 years and spend around 12 months expanding a sense of what’s possible, he leaves the follow through to you. That is not the case this time, with Saturn staying on until March 2024, giving you the discipline and focus to ensure you remain committed, doing whatever it takes for as long as it takes. It helps that you will get a lot of help from the faster planets in the early months of the new professional year, including Mars who is making his first visit in nearly two years.

It begins with Mercury’s return on 2nd January and while he will retrograde back out on 26th January, he will return with the intellectually savvy edge needed to get your head in the game from 15th February to 10th March. In that time, the Sun will make his annual visit from 20th January to 19th February, something that will always turn the solar spotlight onto your work situation, job matters and options at this time of year. However, the real momentum won’t come until after the Sun has moved through and when things should be dialing back. It happens in one fell swoop when Venus and Mars both return to your work sector on 6th March. With Venus here until 6th April and Mars until 15th April, this will be an active time for work and job matters.

It is just 15 days after Mars leaves your work sector that Mercury will return to your career sector on 30th April, beginning the first planetary activity on the career front this year but also the first of two chapters. The first is the ordinary planetary activity that happens at around the same time each year. While the Sun will move through from 21st May to 21st June, Mercury’s return on 30th April will get things off to an early start while Venus’ departure on 18th July will extend things out the other side. However, while this should be the end of all planetary activity on the career front for the year, Mars’ return on 20th August will open up a whole new chapter. Returning for the first time in nearly two years for what should be a six week visit, this will instead see the warrior planet of the cosmos stay here until March 2024. With Saturn in your work sector all year, this will have huge implications on both the job and career fronts.

Because you have had Pluto in your romantic sector since 2008 and Neptune in your relationship sector since 2012 there has been continuous planetary activity on the romantic and relationship fronts for several years now. Yet even by those standards, 2024 is an extraordinary year on both fronts, something that will be evident from the start. This is thanks to a combination of minor events, retrograde phases and the fact that Mars will visit both this year, for the first time in three years. Just starting the year with Venus, the planet of love in your romantic sector and Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in your relationship sector was going to get the year off to a good start, even if they both left just days later.

By the time the Sun leaves your romantic sector on 20th January, the point in most years when it is then up to Pluto to keep the momentum going, things will be just be starting to heat up. While Venus will usually spend just 24 days in your romantic sector each year, a retrograde phase just before Christmas will keep the planet of love here until 6th March. Until turning direct on 29th January, Venus will hold the doors open to the past and second chances but it is Mars’ return on 19th January that will really fire things up on the romantic front. With Venus and Mars both leaving on 6th March, these cosmic lovers will be doing their best to light things up on the romantic front.

It is then that Pluto will take over, keeping the romantic flame burning until Mercury returns on 7th December, Venus on 10th December and the Sun on 22nd December, with all three starting and ending the year here. Meanwhile, you also start the year with Jupiter and Neptune, the planets of luck and dreams in your relationship sector. While Neptune is here all year Jupiter will leave on 15th May but will return for a second visit from 28th October to 21st December. This makes 2024 one of the most important relationship years in a decade if ever, with Jupiter and Neptune aligning here in April for the first time in our lifetime. This is right in the heart of the most active months of the year on the relationship front, which begins with the Sun’s return on 19th January and will run through to Mars’ departure on 24th May.

While it is business as usual on both sides of the financial fence this year there is one extremely big surprise that to begin with, the money gods will be keeping up their sleeves to reveal later. To begin with, business as usual means no planetary activity in your income sector, which is nearly always contained to the second half of the year and limited planetary activity on the other side of the financial fence. While you have had the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos in your financial sector since 1926 and she is responsible for giving you your fighting spirit, she largely operates in the background. In retrograde motion until 11th January, even this limited focus on money matters is in review mode.

Things don’t usually start to move on the financial front until the Sun returns on 21st March and that is the case this year as well. Until leaving on 20th April, the Sun will hold the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters. It is during that time that Mercury will move through, giving you the smart head for money that allows you to think on your feet from 27th March to 11th April. Held back by a retrograde phase Venus, the planet of money won’t return until 3rd May but this delay will be a huge advantage. Here from 3rd May to 29th May, Venus can fuel your financial confidence, update your expectations and bring the laws of attraction into play. However, it is while Venus is here that everything changes.

It begins with Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion’s return on 11th May and Mars, the warrior planet of the cosmos’ return on 24th May. Just having Mars and Eris, the warrior prince and princess of the cosmos together was going to be game changing but with Jupiter here as well, there is a real opportunity for financial growth and expansion. Mars is here until 5th July and Jupiter until 28th October but will return on 21st December and will then remain here until May 2024. Meanwhile, while there is less planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence a short, compact period will create a lucrative pocket that will run from 26th August to his eventual departure on 30th October. In that time the Sun, Venus and Mercury will move through, the latter retrograding back out and then returning in that time.
