How to perform Phone Readings

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL SETTINGS:

It is highly recommended that you work from a phone system, such as a “landline”. Cell phones may be used only if your location has excellent service. You also must have your cell phone charged and nearby during your entire shift (even when using a landline). Prior to each reading, you will receive important information such as your client’s first name via text. You will have approximately 8 rings to answer your phone. If you do not accept your phone reading within that allotted time, your account will be disabled. Missed readings are a poor member experience and may be grounds for contract termination.

Once you are on the line with your customer, please follow this three step format:

  1. Introduce yourself by your “Psychic Name” and assigned “Extension Number”
    Example: Hello. This is Psychic Judy at Extension #1023.
  2. Confirm the caller’s name.
    Example: I see I am speaking to “Susan”. Is that correct?
  3. Begin your reading.
    Example: What questions can I assist you with today?

Security: It is against our member’s terms of use to provide false names during account registration or share their account with others. If the provided name does not match the name of your confirmation text, you are to immediately end the call and contact us via your “Psychic Advisor Support” message portal.

Manage Profile: Prior to beginning work, always check your “Manage Profile” settings and confirm that you have the correct number entered for receiving phone readings and text messages. Our system will route calls and texts to whatever number you have programmed.

Length of Phone Readings: Your client may initially choose between 10 and 120 Minutes for their reading, but may hang up at any number of minutes, once on the phone. When the member has 1 minute of talk time left in their account, you and the member will receive an audible notification. The member then can choose to extend the reading by 10 additional minutes, as many times as they would like, until call completion.

Phone Readings in Queue: Phone Readings in queue will inform you of the number of members who have placed phone readings and are waiting to speak with you. The “Estimated Minutes” button will provide the estimated minutes to complete all queued phone readings. Members may “get in line” to speak with you while you are currently in a psychic reading. Once you finish the current call, the next caller will automatically be connected. Members may also “get in line” to speak with you if you are “offline”. These calls will remain in queue until you start your next shift. Once you click on "Start Work", the system will attempt to call the member for their requested psychic reading.

Available for Additional Psychic Readings / Not Available for Additional Psychic Readings: Select “Not Available for Additional Psychic Readings”, when you have readings in queue and no longer wish to receive additional readings. This is generally used when you are popular and your schedule requires you to logout at a specific time.
Note: You are required to complete all pending phone, text and chat readings, prior to ending your shift for the day.

How to perform Chat Readings (if offered).

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL SETTINGS:

Due to cell phones working very differently from computers, it is highly recommended that if you offer chat readings to NOT use your cell phone. Prior to each reading, you will receive important information such as your client’s first name via text. In addition, it is vital to have your computer speakers set to a volume which will allow you to easily hear the sound alerts that play (ONLY ON COMPUTER / NOT ON CELL PHONE) when you have an inbound chat reading. You will have 80 seconds to accept the chat. If you do not accept your chat reading within that allotted time, your account will be disabled.

Missed readings are a poor member experience and may be grounds for contract termination.You must adjust the “display settings” on your computer monitor or cell phone to “never sleep”. If your screen turns off, you will NOT receive chat readings.

In addition, it is vital to have your computer speakers set to a volume which will allow you to easily hear the sound alerts that play when you have an inbound chat reading. You will have 80 seconds to accept the chat. If you do not accept your chat reading within that allotted time, your account will be disabled.

When the member has 1 minute of chat time left in their account, you and the member will receive a notification. The member then can choose to extend the reading by 10 additional minutes, as many times as they would like, until chat completion.

How to perform Message Readings.

You will receive a notification via text, whenever you receive a message reading. You have a maximum of 48 hours from the time you have received the reading to reply. If you do not reply within 48 hours, your reading will be cancelled and this service will be removed from profile. Missed readings are a poor member experience and may be grounds for contract termination. We do not proof read your answers, so please use the spell check tool to ensure your response is professional and detailed.

How to perform Text Questions.

You will receive via text, a notification whenever you receive a text question. You must complete all text questions prior to ending your shift. We do not proof read your answers, so please use the spell check tool to ensure your response is professional and detailed.

Update Work Status

Click “Start Work” when you are ready to receive and perform psychic readings. Click “Take Break” when you would like a 5 minute break. This “Break” status will automatically return your status to “Available” after 5 minutes for your convenience. Click “End Work” to stop receiving additional psychic reading orders.

Current Profile Status

Current Profile Status is your current work status, as seen by the members on your website profile.

Available = Not in a reading / ready to accept new readings.

In Process = Member in process of purchasing a service.

On a Call = You are currently performing a phone or chat reading.

On Break = You are currently on a 5 minute break.

Offline = You are not currently available for phone, text, or chat readings.

Client Files

Recommended! Client files is an optional system (provided as a courtesy), for you to easily log and re-access, the topics, advice and progress of your regular clients.

My Commissions

Click “My Commissions” to view current and past commissions earned. Commissions will be delivered via PayPal, twice a month, by the 5th and 20th. If you need to update your PayPal account, you can update this via the “Manage Profile” area of your Psychic Dashboard. You must earn a minimum of $50.00 for commissions to be transferred.

Manage Schedule

It is highly recommended (but not required) that you offer a posted work schedule. Posting a schedule has historically increased overall psychic commissions, as MeetYourPsychic can book readings for you when you are offline, which will remain in the queue to be delivered on your next login. Members may choose not to purchase an offline reading from you if your return date is unknown. It is your responsibility to keep your schedule updated, by editing accordingly. It is a negative member experience if you are not working when your schedule says otherwise and may cost you clients and future readings. Please do not offer a schedule, if adhering to it may be a challenge.

Click “Manage Schedule” to access your schedule. You can turn your schedule on or off, update the posted hours, save your time zone, and edit or delete specific shifts. The schedule is Sunday through Saturday and it is not date sensitive.

Client Tips

New to MeetYourPsychic! To help you achieve your financial goals, we now will send a text message to your clients after each completed service. The message will contain a link where they may add a tip on top of your standard per minute commissions. The site will retain 10% of the gratuity to cover credit card processing and administrative fees, and the remaining 90% of the gratuity will be included on your pay report.
