Once and twice and thrice again, bring your heart into the glen.
Four and five and plant your feet. Bring your breath from the ground beneath. With your skin against the sod, Start from your soles and the ground you trod.
Breathe from your ankles and calves and then Release your tension and start again. Six and seven and eight on the count, you are safe within this haunt.
Nine and ten and hold your space, Here there is light, and here there is grace. Pull to the thighs and up your hips. Breathe from stone and a lover's lips. Sigh your tension out now. Breathe from the Earth, and She'll teach you how.
Once and twice and thrice we count, And there is naught we can't surmount. Four and five and catch your heart, I'll ask for nothing you cannot part.
Breathe up your spine, strong as steel, let it flow, and begin to heal. Fill your lungs and fill your heart. Release your tension and restart. Six again, seven, eight breaths in-- It's not your fault, love, you haven't sinned.
Nine and ten and you need not leave-- Stay with us, as long as you need. The anxiety of the world right now weighs heavy on all of us, and I think especially so for those with heightened empathy and scary situations.
I devised this chant for the moments when I feel the anxiety sweep over me, and I need to clear my head and my space, and it's always worked well for me. I plant my feet on solid Earth and mentally place myself in a shady glen by a stream, a place of peace. I visualize the breath flow up my body into my lungs and allow the tension to flow out with my exhale.
It's common to see the face of a loved one during this exercise or even to hear a needed message. In any case, I hope that this helps you the way it has helped me for years and that you'll come to us if you need help deciphering those gentle messages, or even just to have someone listen and lift the burden for a little while.
All of us here at Meet Your Psychic are here for you and always will be.
Be well,
Psychic Kateri
