Psychic Raven Heart: Welcome to Mars Retrograde 2020!
Welcome to Mar's Retrograde 2020! History is not likely to forget the year 2020 any time soon! Astrologers have been predicting mass chaos for this year-long before it arrived. For a lot of complex astrological reasons, they could indicate that this year would be challenging.
One of those reasons was the fact that so many massive hitting planets would be going retrograde at the same time. A planet is said to be in "retrograde" when it appears to station backward in the sky at regular periods. During these times, humans have long felt the influence in their daily lives and recorded them.
Generally speaking, when a planet goes retrograde, you will see a slowing down of the ENERGIES related to that planet. Things seem to come to a halt, and humans seem to go within or even feel tempted to go backward in time. These periods are often where we review, rewind, reassess, and reflect.
Interestingly, even the Earth itself seems to be affected and responds in a similar way, which I will discuss in a moment. It was already significant that we had seven planets retrograde: Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. And then, just this past week, on September 9th, we had Mars in Aries station retrograde!
So you may be wondering what this all means for YOU?
Astrologers teach that Mars is the planet of war and sex, action, and aggression. It is associated with all of the " masculine" stereotypes. Since Mars is in the sign of Aries presently, this is even more true than ever!
Aries is the warrior archetype and is very much associated with one's willfulness and sense of individual expression, ego, and self-esteem. Both of these influence how humans ASSERT themselves.
When Mars stations retrograde, we see an exciting change in ourselves on the collective level. Suddenly we feel less motivated, more reflective, and less sexually driven. We tend to begin feeling more internal aggression and self-loathing. We seem to take our usual outward expression of motivation and assertion and point it on ourselves. This can be difficult as one feels rather revved up and ready to explode like a seething VOLCANO and yet can't and keeps every thought and feeling sucked in and repressed.
This can be a bit of a ticking emotional time bomb.
Speaking of Volcanoes!! 2020 has already been a year of big, seemingly unexpected SURPRISES. We can't help but wonder what is coming next!
Interestingly many psychics and astrologers predict with Mars retrograde ( on top of all of the other retrogrades) an increase in seismic activity and volcanoes! I tend to feel that this will be the case between now and November 15th when Mars turns direct.
The planet Mars is famously red and desolate. We are already seeing something very similar and very RED with all of the thousands of fires occurring right now on the west coast!
Besides influencing internal Earthly matters, psychics know that Mars in retrograde can be difficult for us humans. It often can become a period where we feel locked in our anger and unable to express it. We also may be feeling unusually angry at ourselves.
