At this moment, our need for energy cultivation is critical. There is no time left to doubt our powers and strengths or to cloak them in fear and obfuscation. We've got to push past our points of resistance and bring it! Our brethren need us to show them the way, and they need our protection now more than ever.
So how do we meet this calling?
First, accept who you are. Yes, you may have been misunderstood all your life. Yes, you may be a wounded one. Yes, your gifts and talents might be deemed strange or weird, but who cares? We can't let stigma get in the way. It's time to reduce our sugar and toxin intake and drink more water and essential oils. It's time to get real every day to stir up high vibratory frequencies and enhance our potency. It's time to drag ourselves out of bed and wake up and meditate every day at 3:00 AM to tune in. It's time for more profound meditations, louder chanting, and incantations - I mean, bellow it out. Cry if you have to. It's time to whip out the Florida water, the onions, the herbs, the cauldrons. It is the time!
Many of us have been suddenly and abruptly thrown into new lifestyles with unfamiliar tasks. Our children need our constant attention. We've become teachers, administrators, and lunch ladies (lunch people) overnight. We have to nurture round the clock and educate some of us on minimal resources. Meanwhile, we are still conducting our professional and academic lives while suffering the energy loss that comes with the bombardment of bad news and unspeakable distance from our fellow humans and healing spaces. Low energy will only lead to giving up, to us missing an opportunity to take our place in the world and fulfill our civic duties as healers.
Right now, we have to be okay with doing more and have the discipline to implement the practices that fortify our natures. We have to be okay and use the power of our third and our breath to move through gracefully and confidently. We have to be okay if the world is going to be okay.
