Twin Flames, Soulmates and Life Partners...Oh My!
Twin Flames, Soulmates and Life Partners are terms that are thrown around a lot! What do they really mean? How can understanding these terms help you in your love life? Twin Flames and Soulmates are divine terms with specific energetic connections. Life partners are a person who you have made the decision to journey with in a lifetime. A Twin Flame and a Soulmate may be a life partner, but a life partner is not always a Twin Flame or Soulmate.
A Twin Flame is a person that you attract into your life that you have journeyed with, usually many times, before. More often than not, a Twin Flame shows up as a romantic partner. But this is not always the case.
A Twin Flame will give you the opportunity to see the world through an expanded perspective, as they often will see the world quite differently. They are the Yin to your Yang (or vice versa). A Twin Flame will push your buttons, challenge you, and set your world on fire. A Twin Flame connection can make for a very passionate love connection, but it also comes with challenges.
Finding a way to honor each other's space, while still maintaining personal boundaries can be challenging but it is possible. A Twin Flame will help you to see all of your underdeveloped parts of your Spirit and bring them to the surface. So if you desire a Twin Flame connection...be prepared to work on your own Spirit to make the relationship work long term. Twin Flames are less common to connect with than Soulmates.
What is the difference between Twin Flames and Soulmates? You typically only connect with one win Flame per lifetime...you have MANY Soulmates that you will cross paths with in each lifetime. Also, not all of these Soulmate connections are romantic or are healthy relationships. A Soulmate is simply another Soul that you have made an agreement with to exchange lessons, Soul Lessons. The arrangement to exchange Soul Lessons is where the term Soulmate is derived. So what does this mean in love relationships?
A love connection with a Soulmate means that you will challenge each other (similar to twin Flames) but that there will be more overlapping similarities in your personalities. A Soulmate connection allows for a bit more fluidity. The friendship will create the base of the relationship and passion will need to be a focus in order to maintain over the years.
Soulmates also come in and out of your life with the completion of Soul lessons. So you may have three different romantic relationships with Soulmates over your lifetime, but if you have a Twin Flame relationship, you will only have one chance at that experience (at least in this lifetime).
Decide what experience you want to have and claim it from the Universe. Just make sure you are honest with yourself about what you desire. You cannot expect to attract a partner who is financially secure if you are up to your eyeballs in debt. You cannot expect to attract a partner who travels the world if your passport has expired for 10 years. Live in observation mode in order to keep your actions and your intentions in alignment with each other. Know that you deserve all that you desire.
