Is Your Purpose A Psychic Karmic Lesson?

Many factors play into our purpose and karmic lessons. The first thing to understand is that our soul purpose and our life purpose are two separate things that may be in alignment with each other, but don't have to be. We also have karmic lessons and life lessons to learn (even though not all of us have karmic lessons.) All of these elements shape our destiny and life path.

Soul Purpose

Our soul's purpose is to be all that we are in our purest state.

Finding out who we are sometimes takes a lifetime to discover. We may need to work through a lot of past trauma, come to terms with our strengths and weaknesses, and figure out what fulfills us by experimenting and exploration. At the heart of anyone's journey to figure out their soul's purpose is to be who we are and not someone else. Sometimes we may spend a lot of our time spinning our wheels trying to make others happy while we are becoming all the more miserable. The power is in letting go of other's expectations and allowing yourself just to be. Practicing meditation, journaling, working on ourselves, and psychics are steps we can take to figure out our soul's purpose.

Life Purpose

Our life purpose is the mission we set out to accomplish in this life. You might consider it as a goal, but it is more than that. One's life purpose might be to teach in some capacity physically. Another might be to act as a mentor for someone else. Other's might be to be a leader and lead people to complete something that benefits humanity in some small way. Life purpose is about action.

It may or may not be related to your career or profession. It can be something entirely separate, but it is what you set out to do and succeed in doing in this life. You will know when you are not on the right track because you will be filled with a mixture of negative emotions and negative energy.

In other words, when you are not living your life purpose, your life will feel small, and you will feel unimportant.

Life Lessons

Life lessons are the wisdom you must acquire to learn your life purpose, soul purpose, and to free yourself of karmic lessons. A life lesson can be connected to your karmic lesson, but may just be something you need to learn to get to your karmic lesson. One example is if communication is a part of your karmic lessons, you may have life lessons involved with learning how to communicate in specific ways. Let's say specifically, your soul's purpose in this life is to be in tune with your psychic abilities. One of your life lessons could be how to get over any skepticism you have and family opposition to learn how to be a tarot card reader. Another life lesson might be to get comfortable speaking with Spirits. Then your life purpose might be to practice psychic mediumship so you can help others. Discovering who you are, a psychic medium might be your purpose. However, it doesn't always mean that it has to be your life purpose. In the end, this could all lead to being a part of your karmic lesson.

Karmic Lessons

Our karmic lessons carry on from one life to the next until we've learned what we need to learn, and the lesson has let us go. We are then free to move on to other lessons and just live a life without them.

Karmic lessons could be letting go of the life you created and trying something completely new and different. If your karmic lesson is to be more adventurous, then once you've fulfilled your life purpose and figured out your soul's purpose, you might need to let go and go in a completely unexpected direction to see what the unknown has in store for you — for instance, going back to the psychic medium example from above. Their karmic lesson might be to go through all that only to do something completely new with their life. They would incorporate all their life lessons, struggles with discovering their soul and life purpose, to pave a new way of being. Another karmic lesson they might have could be related to communication as well. Since they've already learned to communicate with Spirits and work with people with mediumship, then they might start a new adventure by writing about their experiences and sharing it with others. It would still be in alignment with everything they have done in this life, but learning to write is another adventure in itself.

So can it be the same?

Possibly. Only you can know the answer to that for sure. Since your karmic lesson is more than just the sum of this life, than it may or may not be related to your soul or life purpose. Discovering your purpose might just be a step towards releasing your karmic lesson. Doing spiritual work is the only way to find out.
