Tarot Card of the Day: 10 of Swords
The Ten of Swords has come into your life today to let you know that the culmination of all of your actions and work is about to come to fruition.
Ten's are about endings and beginnings simultaneously, much like Aloha in Hawaii (meaning hello and goodbye).
The results of your actions are crowning, and you are giving birth to the beginning of a new reality. Much like a woman bringing her first child into the world, her reality changes into that of being a Mother. She sees everything through a new set of lenses, for now she is responsible for the care of her young one.
It may be that you are at the beginning of a relationship, and you are taking it to the next level, or that you and your spouse/partner realize that it is time to stop the cycle of being together and move on as single individuals again. Perhaps you have been waiting to hear about that promotion or bonus at work, or if you are unemployed, you get the call that you have been hired and they are asking you when you can start your career at their company. If you were waiting to hear that you received the grants and scholarships necessary for you to get into the graduate program you applied for, all your efforts and hard work will have been well worth the wait.
Ten's are both pleasant and can be painful. But the pain does not last long, as the Universe is already guiding you to the next leg of your journey, and is telling you that there will be rest stops along the way to ensure that your body and Spirit will stay refreshed.
For it is the JOURNEY that counts, the journey that builds memories, and creates bonds with people in which you have loving and harmonious dynamics.
The Ten of Swords reminds you (and each of us!) that it is time to move >>>>>forward>>>>>. You are moving towards a new goal, not away from a previous supervention, which is indeed the most healthy of paths to traverse. Moving away from a situation creates the pattern of a recurrence of the lesson, rather than having LEARNED the lesson, moving forward with a new way of doing and being.
Whether you are embarking on a new journey or are taking the journey you are on to the next level of Mastership or understanding, 10 of Swords is reminding you that you can do it! You CAN make the necessary transitions, and continue to thrive and grow as the amazing person that you. You can let go of the old ways that no longer serve you and insert into their place a NEW WAY OF SEEING. Take heart, for any pain will be short-lived, as the joyful phase that you are entering will eclipse any pain or sadness. Spirit is already ahead of you and has paved the way for a bright new reality.
Exercise:
Go through your home and clean out the corners and the closets. Get rid of the items that are broken or incomplete. Polish the furniture, silver, and copper. ( If you have items of sentimental value, please DO tuck them away in a safe place. We all have special things like this in our lives. <3)
Make an assessment of what is still serving you in your home and what is not longer needed. Include any of the clothes that you have been hanging onto, but have not worn in years, too.
Clean out your wallet, take out all the old receipts that you no longer need, save the ones that you do.
Get something new that represents your new journey, whether it be a picture or a watch, or a new wallet, make sure it is something that you will see often to remind you that you are at a new level of existence and have learned your lessons. Let it serve as a source of encouragement!
Dear Ones, this is your day and I am so glad that you are here NOW. You will need all the energy and love that you can give your new journey, for there are benefactors and others on the the same pathways that are here to assist you and that you are there to aid. I believe in you and your ability to walk in such strength and conviction, that there is nothing that you cannot do, so keep your dreams BIG.
