Tarot Card of the Day: Daughter of Wands

Today's card, The Daughter of Wands, has danced into our day with the buoyancy of upright and fiery JOY! Daughter's are about Pragmatic Realities, while staying connected to our Joyful Center and Truths.She is letting us know that, although there have been some tight and constricting moments in the past few weeks, that the mood is lifting. That she has invited us into her arena of Joy in all that we do, see, feel, touch, taste, and smell. All of the senses are invoked in The Daughter of Wayne's World! She asks that we use this energy to move forward and to enjoy each step of our journey. For she is sharing that sense of relief after a particularly trying period in your life. Whether that was the end to a relationship, wondering whether or not you will be approved for the Unemployment Benefits, or finding out that you landed the job of your dreams. Perhaps you have found out that you got into the Doctoral Program that you applied for or that the money you have been waiting for shows up in your mailbox.She is asking us to celebrate all the blessings that are dancing along the pathway with you right at this moment. The shift is dramatic! Rather than walking on gravel and uneven terrain, you are dancing on the soft, warm, nourishing sand of Spirit.Let your Soul take in the sustenance of The Daughter of Swords energy, and be filled to the brim and overflowing with the down-to-earth bliss that is flowing through you.

Exercise:

In everything that you do today, make it an opportunity for Joyful Expression. Whether it is walking to your car when you get off work, making dinner, answering the phone, mowing the lawn, or drinking your favorite latte---do so with JOY. Take a lesson from the dolphin and take every opportunity to frolic, play, and explore in ways that not only lift YOU up, but also invite joy into the day of the people around you.Joy in it's very nature is contagious! Embody the genuine happiness of the Daughter of Wands.One of my favorite things: Put on your favorite music, I like Soul and Funk, and dance in the kitchen while making dinner. You CAN taste it in your food, the happiness permeates every single ingredient! Dear Ones, today is your day to leave the sadness behind, and reach out and connect to the Joy around you. The Universe, Spirit, and your Angels are dancing with you, and celebrating that you are here NOW. There is, afterall, only ONE of you in the broad and expansive Universe.
