Using Aries Season To Blossom : Insights with Psychic Kateri

Aries season has started, and there's a lot of chaotic energy in the world right now. Maybe you thrive on chaos, or perhaps you're just trying to get through it, but here are some ways to not only survive but thrive using the Aries energy the universe is providing us.

What do we know about Aries as a sign?

We know that it breeds fierce, wild hearts and somewhat reckless minds, and we know that it is the very beginning of the Zodiac chart. Beginning and creation are two oft-overlooked benefits to the Aries energy in your chart, as it pushes you to dare more, try more, and love the things you create. Underneath all the wilderness and chaos, there are extremely sensitive and caring emotions that often hide behind the facade of Aries stereotypes.

So what do we do with that? How does that help us grow?

First, look at the areas of your life that could use just a bit more attention or increased energy. Maybe that art project you put away for another day, or perhaps that box of things that you've avoided sorting. A bit like spiritual spring cleaning, there are emotions and feelings you may have been bottling up or putting aside to deal with another day. Is today that day? Is that mental box of things nudging you right now and asking for attention?

Secondly, it's springtime! Winter has passed us by, and the roots of things are awaking and starting to show themselves. This is a time for planting and planning for the future. Literally, for my gardener friends among you! Aries season is a powerful time for manifestation and identifying what you want in your life throughout the coming year.

What do you want have accomplished this year? What seeds do you need to sow to reap those benefits come harvest time? Are you content to plant the same things you grew last year, and did they fulfill your needs? If so, fantastic! Keep doing what you're doing, and maintain those crops in joyous good health. If not, are you feeling restless? Do you feel the need to challenge yourself this year, or maybe dial it back a little and conserve your energy?

Lastly, as the youngest of the signs, Aries season is the perfect time to get in touch with your inner child. Be a little childish! Do things that would have made 8-year-old you ecstatic, like going to the zoo or your favorite bookstore.

Get an adult coloring book just for the heck of it, and let yourself have and create things that have no "purpose" other than to please you. A radical thought, I know, but this is how we begin to heal childhood wounds. The wounds of loneliness, abandonment, and being focused on work and only work can all start cropping up around now, and maybe it's time to address them instead of bottling them up.

It's ALSO okay to do and plan for things with low energy if you're a person that doesn't mesh well with the chaos of the Aries energy. If that describes you, focus on self-care for now until the energy moves into something you feel more compatible with. Continuing the planting metaphor, maybe you need to plant things that are there just to make you feel happy and safe. It doesn't have to be acres and acres of corn, what you manifest or "plant" can be just a window box of pretty flowers that make you smile to see.

Your happiness is precisely as important as your productivity, and if you're feeling too pressured right now to plan too far ahead, take a step to the side and focus on something small. Something just for you, maybe a little 'frivolous' or self-indulgent. Your happiness and mental health shouldn't have to hinge on how much you accomplish in a day or even a month. Remember, it's okay not to have the answers.
