Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will not only divide his time between two areas of your chart this year but two such different areas that this creates the kind of variety you don’t normally see. Jupiter only just left your financial sector at the end of last year, leaving you with a sense of what’s possible and with the first steps towards taking your financial power back underway. With Saturn not leaving until March 2024, he will remain in your financial sector all year, giving you the discipline and focus to continue what Jupiter began. A wealth of planetary activity in your financial sector in the early months of the year will give this a boost, including Venus and Mars, who both return on 6th March.

Meanwhile, Jupiter has moved on and begins the year having just returned to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery, where he would normally spend the next 12 months. Instead, Jupiter will race through in less than five months, leaving on 11th May. While the Sun and Mercury will give this a boost when they move through from 19th February to 27th March, it is in April that this will really come into its own. Not only will Jupiter and Neptune, the planets of luck and dreams align here for the first and only time in our lifetime but Venus’ return on 6th April and Mars’ on 15th April will see a desire and a passion for adventure kick in at the same time. Whatever the dream, April and May are the months to fully embrace this.

Meanwhile, it is not just that Venus will leave on 3rd May, Jupiter on 11th May and Mars on 24th May and this will bring this adventurous push to an end that will create a major sea change but where they will move to. Jupiter, Venus and Mars will begin May in an adventurous part of your chart but within days will return to your career sector. Venus is only here until 29th May and Mars until 5th July, but Jupiter is here until 28th October and even then will return on 21st December, where he will remain until May 2024. A massive amount of energy on the career front and the most adventurous part of your chart makes for an exciting year but one with a lot of variety.

Just starting the year with Mars in your work sector is going to get the year off to a good, albeit a potentially busy start. It has been nearly two years since Mars was last here and his return in December 2023 came with perfect timing. Mars returned while the Sun was still here, so was able to piggyback off the ordinary planetary activity that plays out on the job front in the final months of each year. This gave Mars everything he needed to drive things forward and until leaving on 25th January will be working to gain as much momentum as possible. With the South Node leaving on 19th January, this means that when Mars leaves, apart from the Moon’s return every four weeks, this will end all cosmic focus on work and job matters until the Sun and Venus return in November.

However, the start that Mars is able to get the year off to this is something that work and job matters will continue to benefit from. However, after a busy end to 2023 and start to 2024, you will be grateful for a chance to catch your breath before the next wave begins, this time on the career front. While the dwarf planet Eris has been in your career sector since 1926 and her direct turn on 11th January will give career matters the green light, she is not a major player and is more the warrior spirit that you can tap into when needed. The most active months of the year on the career front begin with the Sun’s return to your career sector on 21st March, something that will always turn the solar spotlight onto your career and professional situation, matters and options at this time each year.

Yet even when the Sun leaves on 20th April and Mercury, who is here from 27th March to 11th April is gone there will be a sense but no actual proof that there are game changing developments just around the corner. It is in the early days of May that everything changes and in a way that will change the whole dynamics of this professional year. It begins with Venus’ late return on 3rd May but it is eight days later that Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion will return for the first time in over a decade. Here until 28th October but then returning again from 21st December where he will stay until May 2024, this is the start of a major period of professional growth and expansion. Even Mars, returning from 24th May to 5th July will get in on the act.

While in terms of planetary activity on the romantic and relationship fronts there is nothing out of the ordinary in terms of planetary activity, apart from Mars making his first visit to your relationship sector in two years, this is a better than average year on both fronts and this will be evident from the start. The fact that you begin the year with the Sun, Mercury and Venus in your relationship sector is not uncommon and is what you would expect. However, while the Sun, as is normally the case will leave on 20th January both Venus and Mercury are reluctant to leave. Venus begins the year in retrograde motion while Mercury, who will leave on 2nd January will retrograde back in for a double dip visit on 26th January.

This will keep Mercury in your relationship sector until 12th February and Venus until 6th March, giving the planets of communication and love a lot of time to impact your relationships in the early part of the year. With Mars returning from 25th January to 6th March, he will be here in time to help you get the most out of this. With Pluto, the planet of change and revolution here from 2008 to 2024, this is a chance for some heart led change. This will also ensure that when Venus and Mars leave on 6th March there is continuity. It is later in the year that Mercury will return on 7th December, Venus on 10th December and the Sun on 22nd December in order to do it all over again.

Meanwhile, January will also host a surprise development on the romantic front, when the South Node returns to your romantic sector on 19th January. Until leaving in July 2024, the South Node will keep the spirit of romance alive while also setting the scene for where the eclipses will fall, starting with a total lunar eclipse in your romantic sector on 16th May. While all planetary activity will be within the Sun’s month long visit to your romantic sector from 23rd October to 22nd November, a solar eclipse on 25th October will give the spirit of romance a massive boost. This comes just as Venus, the planet of love will be working to make 23rd October to 16th November the most romantically charged weeks of the year.

While Jupiter left your financial sector in the closing days of 202, the planet of luck and expansion will continue to have an impact on not just this financial year but for several years to come. Having spent much of 2023 here alongside Saturn, this was a double act that has now become a solo mission. Jupiter’s job was to fuel a sense of what’s possible and encourage you to begin the process of taking your financial power back. This was never about what you could accomplish in 2023 but having something to work towards or to strive for moving forward. Staying focused and the follow through is Saturn’s domain, with the hard taskmaster of the cosmos here until early next year. What you began last year you can continue this year, with rigid determination and with an agenda from the start.

While Saturn will remain in your financial sector all year and will be the backbone of this financial year and this means continuous planetary activity on this side of the financial fence, as was the case last year, there will be more active periods within that. On this side of the financial fence, the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and whether Saturn was here or not, this is where the focus will be in the early months of each year. As is always the case, the Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters from 20th January to 19th February, with Mercury giving you the smart head for money needed to keep your head in the game from 2nd January to 26th January and then again from 15th February to 15th March.

Money matters will get a boost when Venus and Mars, the planets of money and passion both return on 6th March, keeping the focus on money matters much longer than is normally the case. Once Venus leaves on 6th April and Mars on 15th April Saturn will be back on his own and it will become more about the journey. Meanwhile, on the income side of the financial fence there is no continuous planetary activity and instead, the most lucrative months of the year will run from Mercury’s return on 20th July to Venus’ departure on 5th September. The most lucrative weeks are likely to be when Venus, the planet of money moves through, from 12th August to 5th September.
