While Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion left Aquarius in the final days of 2023 and won’t be back until 2032, this will have a huge impact on the coming year and more so than would normally be the case. Jupiter’s departure brought the launch of this new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion to a close, planting seeds and beginning the dreams and quests that will continue to play out over the coming years. The difference this time is that you still have Saturn in Aquarius and will do until he leaves in March 2024. Jupiter has created the possibilities but Saturn is staying on with the discipline and focus that can help with the follow through.

A parade of planets, starting with Mercury’s return on 2nd January and ending with Mars’ departure on 15th April and includes your birthday month, will all tap into the possibilities that Jupiter has banked and to Saturn’s sense of resolve as they pass through. As each planet leaves Aquarius they will follow Jupiter into your income sector, starting with the Sun’s return on 19th February. To start with the Sun and Mercury will move through on their own but it is when Venus and Mars return that this lucrative year is likely to begin living up to its hype. It all comes down to the timing, with Venus returning on 6th April and Mars on 15th April. This comes just as Jupiter catches up and aligns with Neptune, bringing the planets of luck, dreams, money and passion together in a once in a lifetime alliance.

With Venus leaving on 3rd May, Jupiter on 11th May and Mars on 25th May, there is a sense of urgency you don’t have when the planet of luck and expansion is here for the whole year, with all three working to make their time together as lucrative as possible. It is then that all three will return to your communication sector within days of each other and where Jupiter will make his home until 28th October. This opens the doors to some important months for all aspects of communication. It is on 28th October that Jupiter will retrograde back into your income sector in order to tie up loose ends and to exploit untapped potential, before returning to your communication sector again on 21st December where it will stay until May 2024.

In terms of planetary activity, things are fairly balanced on the job and career fronts in that there will be limited and finite periods of planetary activity and with Mars visiting neither this year, where things are evenly balanced. It also means that there will be no planetary activity in either of your two professional houses during the early months of the year. However, there will be more weight on career matters and access to untapped professional potential thanks to the South Node’s return to your career sector on 19th January. Until leaving in July 2024, this will not only keep you connected to the past and untapped professional potential, this will set the scene for a pair of important eclipses.

The first will be a total lunar eclipse on 16th May and the second a solar eclipse on 25th October. While each has the potential to trigger major professional developments the South Node, the force behind those eclipses, will be active all year. That will be especially so when the faster moving planets move through your career sector, starting with the Sun’s return on 23rd October. Until leaving on 22nd November, as is always the case each year this will shine the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options and it is while the Sun is here that it will align with the Moon to create the solar eclipse on 25th October. Venus’ visit from 23rd October to 16th November and Mercury’s from 30th October to 17th November will add to the momentum on the career front.

Meanwhile, apart from a Full Moon in your work sector on 18th January, there will be no planetary activity on the job front until the dwarf planet Ceres returns on 15th May. Even then, Ceres is less focused on day to day matters and instead, returns for the first time in four years in order to update your needs and priorities on the job front. As Ceres won’t leave until 24th July, this is something that will continue even when the planets that can make things happen return. The Sun will move through your work sector from 21st June to 23rd July, shining the solar spotlight on work and job matters as it does at this time each year. Mercury’s return from 5th July to 20th July and Venus’ from 18th July to 12th August will contribute to a short, sharp burst of planetary activity on the job front.

While for the most part is it business as usual on the romantic and relationship fronts, the love gods in particular do have a surprise up their sleeve but they are saving that until later in the year. Considering that there is barely ever any planetary activity in the second half of the year of this in itself is a pleasant surprise but more of that later. Meanwhile, 2024 begins in the same way that 2023 began, with the North Node in your romantic sector but with its 20 month journey to steer matters of the heart in the right direction coming to a close. While not a planet or even a physical body, the North Node’s departure from your romantic sector will leave it empty for the first time since April 2019 though not for long.

It was in the closing days of 2023 that the dwarf planet Ceres retrograded back out of your romantic sector but she will return for a double dip visit from 9th February to 15th May. It is while Ceres is here, returning to a mission to update your heart’s needs and priorities that this year’s planetary activity on the romantic front will begin. It starts with Mercury’s return on 30th April and while he will leave on 23rd May it is by retrograding back out, returning for a double dip visit from 15th July to 5th July. Mercury’s first visit will overlap the Sun’s month long visit from 21st May to 21st June while his second will overlap Venus, the planet of love’s visit from 23rd June to 18th July.

Venus will leave just two days before all planetary activity on the relationship front for the year will be with Mercury’s return on 20th July. With no other planetary activity on the relationship front this year, the period from Mercury’s return to Venus’ departure on 5th September will provide some short and contracted support. From 20th July to 4th April Mercury, the planet of communication will work to get the communication lines open while the Sun will put the solar spotlight on your relationships from 23rd July to 23rd August. Venus, the planet of love will move through, weaving her magic from 12th August to 5th September. This is when the love gods will play the wildcard they have been holding up their sleeves when long after all planetary activity on the romantic front for the year should have ended, Mars will return on 20th August. The surprise isn’t Mars’ return and instead that while he is normally here for six weeks, he won’t leave until March 2024.

While there is continuous planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence in 2023 and only a finite period where there is planetary activity on the other side of the fence, which is the case in most years. That is because, with Neptune in your income sector from 2012 to 2026, this will keep the focus on money coming in throughout the year. However, while by that measure this year is a case of business as usual by every other measure this is destined to be an expansive and lucrative year. This is thanks to two planets that will make the income side of the financial fence even more dominant than it usually is. Those two planets are Mars, making his first visit to your income sector in nearly two years and Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion who is returning to finish what he began last year.

Your financial sector, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have will see neither this year. Jupiter had returned to your income sector last year but retrograded back out two and a half months later and even then having spent most of that time standing at the door looking in. When Jupiter returned on 29th December 2023 he was back to full speed and will race through the entire length of your income sector before leaving on 11th May. Jupiter will return again in order to tie up loose ends from 28th October to 21st December but it is during the first visit that everything happens. The Sun will move through from 19th March to 21st March and Mercury from 20th March to 27th March.

While this will shine the solar spotlight on income matters and Mercury will give you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and think on your feet, it is in April that the real magic begins. April is when Jupiter and Neptune will align for the only time here in our lifetime. However, with Venus returning on 6th April and Mars on 15th April this will see the planets of money, luck, dreams and passion come together in a way never seen here before. With Venus leaving on 3rd May, Jupiter on 11th May and Mars on 24th May, they will be working to make these some of the most lucrative weeks of not just this year. Meanwhile, money matters will get their turn when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through your financial sector, from 4th August to 11th October.
