Your 2024 Overview
Starting the year with Mars in Sagittarius is a huge advantage and especially as he returned during your birthday month and in time to catch the wave that the planets moving through during the latter part of 2023 have created. Knowing that once he leaves on 25th January he won’t return until later next year, Mars will be working to make his final weeks here count. No matter when in the year this would put Mars on a mission to fuel your passions, drive, warrior and competitive spirit but that it happens just as you move into a new year makes this even more potent. Especially as the South Node will leave Sagittarius on 19th January, something that since early 2020 has kept you connected to the past.
It is then that Mars will join Venus in your income sector, just as the planet of money is preparing to come out of a retrograde phase here on 29th January that has turned her normal 24 day visit into a four month journey, spanning the final months of 2023 and the early months of 2024. Until they both leave on 6th March, Venus and Mars will be working to get the year off to a lucrative start. It is then that both will finally join Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion in your communication sector. By then the Sun and Mercury will have already moved through and with the communication lines already open, Venus and Mars will know how to exploit this. Venus’ return on 3rd April and Mars’ on 15th April is just one reason this will be the most powerful point in Jupiter’s short visit.
It is on 3rd May that Venus will leave and return to your home and family sector, where once again the Sun and Mercury have already moved through. This time Venus returns ahead of Jupiter, who will return to begin some of the most expansive months for home, family and/or property matters on 11th May, with Mars joining them on 25th May. For Jupiter, this is a split visit, here until 28th October but returning again on 21st December, when he will then stay on until May 2024. Meanwhile, it is when Jupiter retrogrades back into your communication sector on 28th October that it will be to support Mars in the early months of what will become an eight month visit to your relationship sector, which will run from 20th August 2024 to 26th March 2024.
2024 Career Horoscope
As the year begins with no planetary activity in your career sector and Uranus in retrograde motion in your work sector, things might be fairly quiet as you move into the New Year but it won’t stay that way for long. Unlike your work sector, where Uranus will be a constant presence from 2019 to 2026, there is no planetary activity in your career sector until the second half of the year and even then, without Mars visiting this year, the main focus is on work and job matters this year. Yet even by those standards, this is destined to be a standout year, to the point where this is the year everything will come alive and in one fell swoop on 19th January. Within the space of just a few hours, first Uranus turns direct and then the North Node returns, for the first time in 17 years.
Uranus’ direct turn was always going to release the brakes but with the Sun not returning until April it can take that long to gain any real momentum. However, the North Node returns to not only provide a sense of direction but momentum, just as the brakes have been released. This is something that the North Node will continue to do until leaving in July 2024 but this will also determine where the eclipses will fall. The first will be a solar eclipse on 1st May, in the heart of the Sun’s month long visit from 20th April to 21st May. It is six months later that a total lunar eclipse on 9th November will once again galvanize work and job matters. However, it is after the Sun moves through that things will really start to take off on the job front.
Held back by a retrograde phase, Venus won’t return to your work sector until 29th May while a retrograde phase will keep Mercury here until 14th June, long after the Sun has moved through. Until she leaves on 23rd June, Venus will continue to attract opportunities. However, yet again there is more to come, with Mars’ return from 5th July to 20th August ushering in the third and most powerful wave of planetary activity on the job front. Auspiciously, Mars will be here when Mercury returns to your career sector on 4th August. This will see Mars’ final days in your work sector overlap the early days of all planetary activity on the career front for the year, which will run its course on 11th October. In that time the Sun, Mercury and Venus will move through, all moving into a friendly aspect to Uranus in your career sector as they do.
2024 Love Horoscope
Just as the sun is setting on a period when all the focus has been on your relationships, it is about to rise on romantic matters, with the biggest surprise of 2024 being that this is destined to be a lucky year for love. To begin with, there will be no sign of this and with the North Node wrapping up a 20 month visit to your relationship sector, where along with the South Node in Sagittarius it has been policing a balance between your personal and relationship needs, it is business as usual. However, the relationship gods do have a surprise in that while the North Node will leave your relationship sector on 19th January the dwarf planet Ceres will return from 9th February to 15th May. Having spent the second half of 2023 here, Ceres will return to revisit your relationship needs and priorities after the fact.
Meanwhile, while the Sun will move through your romantic sector from 21st March to 20th April and this will always put the solar spotlight on matters of the heart and all things romantic, there will still be nothing to suggest that anything out of the ordinary is about to happen. It is not until after the Sun has left that Venus’ return on 3rd May will signal the start of something special. Held back by a retrograde phase Venus will be late to return to your romantic sector this year but will return with perfect timing, putting the planet of love here when Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion returns on 11th May. Jupiter will remain here until 28th October but will then return again for a second visit from 21st December to 17th May 2024.
Even Mars will return for the first time in two years from 24th May to 5th July, putting the planets of love, luck and passion together in your romantic sector for the first time since 2011. It is during this time that the Sun and Mercury will move through your relationship sector, the Sun from 21st May to 21st June and Mercury from 30th April to 23rd May and then again from 14th June to 5th July. It is during that second visit that Venus will return from 23rd June to 18th July, in the heart of some of the most romantically charged months in over a decade. However, this year has one more surprise, with Mars returning for what should be a six week visit to your relationship sector on 20th August but not leaving until 26th March 2024.
2024 Money Horoscope
In a nutshell, this is a year where there are two main active periods, one for income and the other for money matters but where an underlying bias towards the income side of the financial fence will define the year. In other words, it is business as usual though with one exception. That one exception is not just the amount of planetary activity in your income sector at the start of the year but the behavior of the planets involved. Unlike your financial sector, where the focus is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have and where there is only a limited amount of planetary activity each year, Pluto has been in your income sector since 2008 and will be until 2024. This means that there is continuous planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence.
However, while that is the case Pluto, the planet of change and revolution will only become active when other planets are moving through. As the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your income sector, this will happen towards the beginning and end of each year, with money matters getting their turn six months later, in the middle part of each year. As is normally the case, the Sun will keep the solar spotlight on your income situation, matters and options until leaving on 20th January, only to return again to do it all over again on 22nd December. However, it is Venus, Mercury and Mars that will keep the income potential not only going but increasing through to March.
While Venus returned for what is usually a 24 day visit to your income sector in November 2023 and they can be the most lucrative weeks of any year, a retrograde turn just before Christmas will keep her here 6th March. By coincidence Mars, who will return on 25th January for his first visit in nearly two years will also leave on 6th March. At the same time, while Mercury will leave on 2nd January he will retrograde back in for a second visit from 26th January to 15th February. This will get the year off to a potentially lucrative start and more so than is normally the case. Meanwhile, money matters will get their turn from the Sun’s return to your financial sector on 21st June to Venus’ departure on 12th August. This is a much shorter period and without Mars or Pluto, there will be a lot less energy and instead, a much needed chance to focus on money matters.
