Your 2024 Overview
For the second year in a row Jupiter will divide his time between two areas of your chart, moving backwards and forwards between the two. It was in the closing days of 2023 that Jupiter returned to your sector of friendship, teamwork and networking, where he had spent two and a half months in the middle of last year, before retrograding back out. Having returned on 29th December, Jupiter will race through and before leaving on 11th May will make personal and professional networking a major area of focus. It is here that Jupiter will align with Neptune in April, bringing the planets of luck and dreams together here for the first and only time in our lifetime. With Venus returning on 6th April and Mars on 15th April, this could see some important alliances form or luck could find you through the people you meet or are working with.
It is on 11th May that Jupiter will return to begin the wind down of your current 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion. While Jupiter won’t return to Taurus until next May, this is when you begin the process of winding down one 12 year cycle and begin preparing for the next. In the meantime, there will already be a lot of focus on new beginnings from very early this year, with the North Node returning to Taurus on 19th January, the same day that Uranus turns direct here. The North Node is always focused on the future, the solar eclipse this will create on 1st May, right in the heart of your birthday month, creating the potential for major new beginnings.
This will see the South Node return to your relationship sector at the same time and until they both leave in July 2024, the lunar nodes will police a balance between your personal and relationship needs. Meanwhile, while Jupiter left your career sector at the end of last year, Saturn is here until March 2024 and he is giving you the discipline and determination to remain focused. This will get a boost when the faster moving planets move through, especially the Sun from 20th January to 19th February. However, it is Venus and Mars’ return on 6th March that will make March and April some of the best months of this professional year.
2024 Carrer Horoscope
Jupiter’s departure from your career sector on 29th December 2023 may have taken the planet of luck and expansion out of the game but he will have a huge impact on this professional year and in a way that is not normally the case. Jupiter will return to your career sector every 12 years and will spend around 12 months creating the potential for professional growth, expansion and new opportunities. If there is anything to criticize about Jupiter is that he can over promise and under deliver, mainly because once he leaves it is up to you to keep the momentum going. However, with Saturn staying on and not leaving until March 2024, this time you have the resolve and discipline to remain focused and to see things through.
It also helps that there is a lot of planetary activity on the career front in the early months of the year to capture the momentum and a lot more than is normally the case. As is the case each year, the Sun will move through from 20th January to 19th February, shining the solar spotlight on your career and professional situation, matters and options. With Mercury here from 2nd January to 26th January, this will ensure you have your head in the game in the early weeks of this professional year. While Mercury will return for a double dip visit from 15th February to 10th March and this alone will extend things out, it is after the Sun leaves that the real magic begins.
It happens in one fell swoop when held back by a retrograde phase Venus finally returns on 6th March, with Mars returning for the first time in nearly two years on the same day. With Venus here until 6th April and Mars until 15th April, what normally runs its course with the Sun’s departure in February is only just getting started by that point. It is once Mars leaves that Saturn will be on his own in your career sector and it will stay that way for the rest of the year. However, both career and job matters will get a boost when the Sun, Mercury and Venus return to your work sector. It begins with Mercury’s return on 26th August, with a retrograde turn on 10th September not only keeping him here until 24th September but will see him retrograde back out, only to return from 11th October to 30th October. During that time the Sun and Venus will move through, making 26th August to 30th October the most active months of the year on the job front.
2024 Love Horoscope
There is a surprise development on the relationship front just weeks into the New Year that will not only impact the coming year but right through to July 2024. While there is rarely planetary activity on the relationship front in the first half of the year that remains the case, on 19th January the North Node will return to Taurus and the South Node to your relationship sector and until they leave on 18th July 2024 they will police a balance between your personal and relationship needs. In addition, this is where the eclipses will shift, starting with a total lunar eclipse in your relationship sector on 16th May and a solar eclipse six months later on 25th October.
There will be pivotal points in a pivotal year on the relationship front, bringing the influence of the lunar nodes to a head. This will become more pronounced when there is planetary activity in your relationship sector, which will be compressed into a short period from 23rd October to 22nd November. With Venus also returning on 23rd October but leaving on 16th November and Mercury moving through from 30th October to 17th November, all planetary activity on the relationship front for the year will play out during the Sun’s month long visit. It is during that time that the solar eclipse on 25th October will create the potential for major new beginnings.
Before then romantic matters will get their turn, starting a romantically charged Full Moon on 18th March. The boost will come when Venus, the planet of love returns to Taurus from 29th May to 23rd June. Held back by a retrograde phase the planet of love won’t return to Taurus until after your birthday month is over, freeing her from being caught up in the more mundane focus job of launching your new solar year. Planetary activity in your romantic sector itself will run from Mercury’s return on 4th August to his eventual departure on 11th October. In that time the Sun will move through from 23rd August to 23rd August while Venus will make from 5th September to 29th September the most romantically charged weeks of the year.
2024 Money Horoscope
With the lunar nodes leaving your two money houses on 19th January this will have a significant impact on both sides of the financial fence. Since May 2020 the lunar nodes have been policing a balance between money coming in and money going out and their departure will ease that pressure. It also means that there will be no more eclipses, with the total solar eclipse in your financial sector in December the last. This will create a lot less intensity and it also means that periods of planetary activity on the income and financial fronts will be separate from each other. For the first time since 2019 the flow of each financial year will be back to a more normal pattern, with the middle months of each year the most potentially lucrative and the final months more about money matters.
While the Sun left your financial sector just before Christmas, the year begins with Mars still here and until leaving on 25th January, he will be working to get the year off to an impassioned start, especially when it comes to the fight to take your financial power back. Because Mars and the lunar nodes will leave within days of each other, all of a sudden there will be no activity on either side of the financial fence, for the first time since April 2020. After Mars leaves your financial sector on 25th January, apart from the Moon’s monthly visits and a Full Moon on 14th June there will be no cosmic focus on money matters until Venus returns on 16th November, followed by the Sun on 22nd November and Mercury on 7th December.
This is the start of a very ordinary annual update and review of money matters that will end with the Sun’s departure on 22nd December. It is a different story on the other side of the financial fence and not just because things kick off much earlier. It begins with the dwarf planet Ceres’ return to your income sector from 9th February to 15th May. Ceres had been here for months before retrograding back out at the end of last year but returns to resume her mission to update your income needs and priorities. Ceres will be here when Mercury returns on 30th April, giving what are traditionally the most lucrative months of any year a head start. This will run through to Venus’ departure on 18th July. However, it is just a month later that things will take an exciting turn, with Mars returning to your income sector on 20th August but not leaving until March 2024. This will be an eight month war on glass ceilings.
