The stars have dialled up an exciting year, with a lot of variety but also a sense of stability and of the familiar. While Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion only returned to your financial sector in the closing days of December, he had not only spent the middle months of 2023 here but joins up with Neptune again, who has been here since 2012. This means that while Jupiter is bringing fresh energy into money matters and the planets of luck and dreams are joining forces in order to turn financial dreams into reality and to create the potential for growth and expansion, this is building on from previous years. Jupiter is only here until 11th May but it is in April that he will not only align with Neptune but Venus and Mars will return to make his final weeks count.

It is then that things will take an exciting turn, with Jupiter returning to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery for the first time in over a decade. It helps that Venus and Mars will follow him in, Venus on 3rd May and Mars on 25th May. This will see a desire and a passion for adventure kick in just as Jupiter returns to make this the luckiest and most expansive area of your chart. While Venus will leave on 29th May, Mars will continue to fuel a passion for adventure and a hunger for life’s richer experiences until he leaves on 5th July. Jupiter will leave on 28th October but will return on 21st December, where he will remain until May 2024.

Meanwhile, while Jupiter left your relationship sector at the end of last year, Saturn is here for the whole of 2024, with the relationship journey that began last year continuing. Your relationships will also get a boost from Venus and Mars, this time when they both return on 6th March. Until then, both are working to get this new professional year up to speed, something that will get a boost in January. A retrograde turn late last year means that instead of moving through your work sector in 24 days, Venus will have been here for four months by the time she leaves on 6th March. This comes just as Uranus’ turns direct in your career sector on 19th January, the same day that the North Node returns. Mars’ return to your work sector on 25th January and Venus’ direct turn on 29th January will create some unstoppable momentum.

The year gets off to an exciting start on both the job and career fronts, with the things set in motion in the early months of the year having both the momentum and the actual support to keep the momentum going. Not all years are created equal and some years are more significant than others and while you have Uranus in your career sector from 2019 to 2026 and Pluto in your work sector from 2008 to 2024, even by those standards this is a huge year. So much so that professionally, this is the year that everything until now has led up to and everything from now will lead on from. Two factors give Uranus and career matters an additional boost and they are the North Node’s return to your career sector and the fact that Mars will be making his first visit in nearly two years.

The North Node will not only return to your career sector on 19th January but on the same day that Uranus turns direct here, creating a sense of forward momentum and direction just as the lights turn green. The North Node’s return also means that this is where the eclipses will fall in 2024, starting with a solar eclipse on 1st May and then culminating in a total lunar eclipse on 9th November. The solar eclipse will fall in the heart of the Sun’s month long visit to your career sector from 20th April to 21st May. This itself is in the heart of some active months on the career front, beginning with Mercury’s return on 11th April and ending with Venus’ departure on 23rd June. However, Mars’ return from 5th July to 20th August will create another wave.

Meanwhile, it is earlier in the year that Mars will be responsible for getting the year off to an exciting but busy start on the job front. As always, the Sun will spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of every year in your work sector and to start the year with Venus and Mercury here is not unusual. However, while Venus returned for what should have been a 24 day visit in November 2023, a retrograde phase will keep her here until 6th March. In retrograde motion until 29th January, Venus will be holding the doors open to the past and second chances when Mercury retrogrades back in for a double dip visit from 26th January to 15th February and when Mars returns on 25th January. With Venus and Mars both leaving on 6th March, this will put a lot of energy into work and job matters in the early months of the year.

The year gets off to a good start with Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos in your romantic sector from 13th December 2023 to 25th January 2024. Mars returned while the Sun was still in your romantic sector, keeping what began in 2023 going into the New Year. With the South Node leaving your romantic sector on 19th January after keeping the focus on matters of the heart for the last 20 months, this puts a lot of focus on matters of the heart in the early weeks of the year but also with some urgency. The South Node and Mars won’t just leave within days of each other but this will end all planetary activity on the romantic front until Venus, the planet of love returns on 16th November.

The more you can invest into matters of the heart in the early weeks of the year the Moon can recapture and nurture when it returns every four weeks. One of the most important of those visits will be the one that creates a romantically charged Full Moon on 14th June, halfway between the Sun’s last visit and the next. It is Venus’ return on 16th November that will begin the next round of planetary activity on the romantic front, which will run through to 22nd December. Meanwhile, while planetary activity on the romantic front is contained to the early weeks and then the final months of the year, planetary activity on the relationship front will continue all year thanks to Saturn.

It was in the closing days of 2023 that Jupiter left your relationship sector, leaving Saturn behind on his own and not due to leave until next year, he will keep the focus on your relationships and will continue the journey. For the majority of the year, Saturn will be on his own but your relationships will get a serious boost in the early months of the year. It begins with Mercury’s return on 2nd January, with a retrograde turn on 15th January taking him back out all days later, only to return for a second visit from 15th February to 10th March. The timing is significant because this means the planet of communication will still be here when Venus and Mars, the planets of love and passion both return on 6th March. Once Venus leaves on 6th April and Mars on 15th April, Saturn can keep the momentum going.

This is a big year for money matters and especially when it comes to turning financial dreams into reality. Neptune, the planet of dreams and fantasies has been in your financial sector since 2012 and for the majority of that time it may have felt more like wishful thinking. Neptune is a planet that inspires the imagination and is not that helpful when it comes to financial management. However, that is not Neptune’s job and instead, the job of other planets as they move through, giving them something to work with from the start. As always, the Sun will move through your financial sector from 19th February to 21st March, turning the solar spotlight on your financial situation and money matters.

This year Mercury will move through from 10th March to 27th March, giving you the smart head for money needed to get your head in the game and to think on your feet. Held back by a retrograde phase Venus won’t return until 6th April, with Mars’ return on 15th April bringing the planets of money and passion into play. However, while these are planets that for a few weeks can help you work towards turning Neptune’s financial dreams into reality, this is not what makes this a blockbuster financial year. For that, you can thank Jupiter, with the planet of luck and expansion having returned to your financial sector in the closing days of 2023. Jupiter is here until 11th May and will retrograde back in to help tie up loose ends from 28th October to 21st December.

However, it is during Jupiter’s first visit that he will align with Neptune here for the first and only time in our lifetime. They will align in April, just as Venus and Mars return, bringing the planets of luck, dreams, money and passion together in a rare, once in a lifetime alignment. Meanwhile, on the income side of the financial fence there is no continuous planetary activity and instead a defined period from Mercurys’ return to your income sector on 4th August to his departure on 11th October. In that time Mercury will visit twice, retrograding back in for a double dip visit, the Sun will move through from 23rd August to 23rd September and Venus from 5th September to 29th September.
